A white bracelet is also the symbol of Bono's ONE Campaign, which is also kicking off this week! People magazine and US Weekly have already shown celebrities wearing the ONE wristbands. They look very much like the broad white rubber band that grocers use for produce.
The "ONE Word for the ONE Campaign" video is being featured during the Oscar broadcast on ABC tonight. They have also launched a website, ONE.org. On Tuesday, March 1, people will wear their ONE wristbands to display solidarity in support of the fight against global AIDS and poverty.
If people wearing white wristbands for different causes end up educating each other about their issues, it will be all to the good!

yikes - I had no idea. I think the idea with SIAD day is to stick to ribbons but people will probably mistake those wearing white bracelets for ONE supporters.
Problem is all these different causes and not enough colours or days of the year!!!! but it probably won't do any harm. you are right =)

Problem is all these different causes and not enough colours or days of the year!!!! but it probably won't do any harm. you are right =)
