I trick-or-treated a few times, but for the most part, I stayed home and helped Dad hand out candy.

[Nowadays, she didn't do jack for Halloween-- or at least she hadn't in the Halloween that had happened after... well, after that fateful summer night. It had been too soon. So she'd just turned the lights out and pretended nobody was home, like a crotchety old man. Maybe next year she'd try to have fun again. Dress up and decorate and have a goofy little shtick ready for when kids came to the door. That'd be nice. She missed doing that.]

Hey, nothin' wrong with that! You can have just as much fun chilling at home. I did it a few times with my buds. Nothin' like a good horror flick marathon!

Yeah, I ran around like a hooligan with friends a few times in high school, but I think I liked staying home better. We got to try and scare all the little kids who came to the door.

[... WELL. CORRECTION: Heather was the only one who'd done that. Harry was usually the one trying to keep his psychotic daughter from leaping out at kindergarteners with a Scream mask or something. Oh, youth.]

So ARE there even any clubs around in this place?

There sure aren't in Azalea.

Oh man, that's pretty fun too. When I was a kid, I always loved the houses that had all the awesome decorations up and stuff. Just a plain light on outside is boring!

I don't even know. I'm stuck in Cherrygrove right now, and I know neither Cherrygrove or Violet have one. Maybe this Goldenrod I've been hearing about has one? Doubt I'd get there in time though...

Me and my friends would always try to fill our pillowcases to the top. It took hours, but man, it was so worth it.

Well, you take a stick, and dangle an apple from one end and a lit candle to the other, and you suspend it from the ceiling or a tree branch and spin it around. Then you had your hands tied behind your back and if you could grab the apple with your teeth you won!

Well, you could play without the candle, but we always thought it was more fun with it!
