Jack loves Rose. He's not merely in love with her, but loves her deeply and fiercely to a point that even he's not aware of how deep their bond runs. He's always protective of Rose, but it's a special sort of protectiveness; he will be there when she wants him to be, when she needs him, but he will not stop her from doing anything she chooses to do, no matter the risk it involves, because he doesn't think he has that sort of right when it comes to her.
He will only be around for as long as she wants him to, but sometimes Jack recognizes just how broken Rose is, and it's in those moments that he stays with her no matter what, whether she wishes it or not, because a broken Rose is the one thing he can never bare to see her become.
Well tags have been done, so. Though you are now a whore like Mel.
Crane is probably the closest thing Eddie has to a friend, and this is mostly due to the fact that they room together and haven't actually tried to kill each other yet. Well, not with the actual intent of killing each other; Crane's attempt strangulation to get into solitary don't count. He gives Eddie the attention that he craves and plays along with his riddles, and in turn Eddie let's Crane have his reading time and doesn't try to kill him after he decides to play on his fears. He also has an odd sort of respect for his work and what Crane does, but it's the sort of respect he has for a lot of the Arkhamaniacs; despite their illegal ways, they rise above the common thief and actually put some thought behind their plans, rather than the average thug who can only think as far as his next mugging.
Oh, and Crane has seen Eddie's boxers. 'nuff said.
She is easy, in more than one way. But she falls into the 'Will Never Sleep With' category, which is really reserved exclusively for her and the Master. Jack will never buy the argument that she was a victim in her husband's plans, not in any sense of the word. Yes, she ended up broken by the end of it all, even he could see that, but which one of them didn't? So really, he has no sympathy for her.
Gene:
They've only talked a grand total of twice, so not really much to say. Except, well, Jack would be more than happy to raise him. Also, Gene seems like the sort of guy who's a bit stuck up about his job, but Jack doesn't blame him, all things considered. He's still free to argue with him, though.
The TARDIS:
.....well, I have written a whole meta on how Jack feels about the TARDIS, does that count?
Gwen's relationship with Jack is very special, in a lot of ways. She's someone that he loved enough to, well, let go. Because first and foremost, he cares about her well being, especially considering that he's the one who got her into this kind of life in the first place. She's an amazingly strong person to him, for all she does and puts up with, and though he'll never admit it he thinks her and Rhys deserve each other. They're an odd sort of stubborn, and he seems to truly care about what's best for her and making her happy, so. Again, not that he will ever admit it. Especially not to Rhy's face.
I also think that, when all is said and done, he values her more as a friend than he would if she were a lover. Because to Jack, friendship means a lot more than sex. This isn't to say that he can't have both in the same person, but he gets the feeling that if he had achieved one with Gwen, he wouldn't have really gotten the other. So he's happy with the choice.
