late comment is late, sorry! I must say the title *almost* put me off, but you wrote it so I read it. I liked the shifting between their points of view, I liked the idea that they have changed and can be different people, but they can still care and feel something like friendship..yes it's angsty but it's also read. People are complex, so why should relationships that take place over years be any different? :) well done!
