She seems to be enjoying herself as she zips from table to table on her skates, cheerfully turning to attend to any customers who happen to flag her down. [It took Maya some getting used to, also, but she had frequented Peace Burger in Sumaru City often enough to have some acquaintance with American food when she arrived.]

Hello, Mio. Maya is fine, you know, you don't have to be so formal. [She smiles gently.]

Nothing fancy. Cheeseburgers with fries, enough for everyone. There's lettuce, onions, tomatoes and pickles on them, but we can take those off if you don't like them.

[That's right! They'll eat extra healthy tomorrow to make up for it.]

It won't hurt. I'll make something a little lighter tomorrow, but I had to work a long shift today and just wasn't feeling up to it. [Though Himeno and Dean have done their share of cooking, as well. Maya's never been great at it, but she's been improving by leaps and bounds the more time she spends at the diner and in the kitchen.]
