Maybe irony is British. I don't know, the triplets are pretty good at pointing out irony or making ironic jokes. Humor is hard to translate.. For ex, in Romania, a very commonly used expression for doing nothing or wasting time is that someone is "rubbing mint."
Now Americans, when I say this joke, are always like "but...but...there are useful things about rubbing mint, i dont get it. what if you need it for a recipe?"
wait, so it's warm, but everyone is wearing coats and hats just because it is winter time!!!!!! whoa, are you doing that? that's probably the craziest thing i've ever heard. and like, if you were korean and talking about me you would say "our friend, cassie" ???
I'm not completely certain as to why, but this was the best livejournal post that I have read in months. .and i read alot of livejournal posts(this is a joke).
