Beautiful Alex. Beautiful. I almost started crying your story is amazing. You should lengthen it and turn it into a short story. It would be amazing. I find your story to be courageous as well. I wish I had the courage to go to a movie alone. I also wish that Denver had the type of public transportation system that Toronto does. I love riding the metro by myself. There are so many interesting people.
As for the end: Sometimes I wonder how you have such a rational hold on the world when you have such a brilliant imagination. But what you say at the end is not true. You are an excellent judge of character from what I've seen of you. Don't be discouraged.
