I'm sure you handled the situation with grace and dignity as you always do.

Instead of getting angry, try to understand their position.

They were:
1)forced to go
2)probably not enjoying it
3)felt alone in a sea of snobbish private school girls (not you of course, but still, some of the stories you tell me of your friends makes me wonder)

Also, it may have been the first actual live performance they've ever been to. So maybe they don't understand the rules.

I'm not trying to excuse their behavior. I'm merely trying to see their side of it. They had no right to impede your enjoyment of the show. And such a good show too.

What they did was wrong. And their karma will kick them in the ass for it some day.
But you shouldn't let it bother you. You can't control what they do.

You are an amazing person and I'm sure you've thought about these things already. I'm just preaching to the choir.

You are right. On every level except one.

There were 20 of us in uniform. There were like 10 other Public schools, and we were the only private one.

Thank you for making me feel better, like you always do :)

In other news....
I didn't know you guys were the only private school. Then that takes that aspect right out of the equation.

I'm really impressed with how you handled that situation... so much utter disrespect and malice, and yet you knew the entire time what the right thing to do was...

You're right Alex. Picking a fight with those girls would have solved nothing besides giving them what they wanted (even though we all know you could have taken them, claws or no claws). I don't think anything ever gets accomplished when people get angry, and to be able to keep your composure under such an ridiculously obscene scenario just proves you're not some snobby little private girl stereotype.

...bravo
