Everyone else has made comments about weird things happening when you use them, but that didn't happen to me. So, maybe you'll luck out and find the rare one that doesn't cause mischief? I've only found one, so far. The senses were hearing and scent--which isn't enough to identify any of the people in my memory, either. Maybe the more senses you have access to, the more side effects you get, but I don't have any solid proof of that.
