Hey- I just wanted to give you a heads up, I have never seen Friday Night Lights, and I don't know your canon or fandom he is played from at all. However, Quadrapalegia affects all of his limbs and torso. It's far more likely he suffers from Paraplegia, which would place him in a wheelchair, but still able to function as I would assume he does. (manual-chair)
This isn't meant to be anything bitchy, or negative at all on how you portray or play this character (for I have not read his journal, and I have already admitted to not knowing his canon) but the word choice was off and incorrect.
Apologies if I sound a little bitchy in return with this because I have had more than a handful of people try to call me on this.
Jason IS quadraplegic. The accident affected all his limbs in that he also lost the use of his fingers in both hands, therefore, quadraplegic. The actor Scott Porter does an awesome job of portraying this (or did, as the character was written out Season 3). In fact, I can show screen caps of him holding a beer with the base of his palms. It's the medical term Incomplete Quadraplegia, if we want to get technical. I work in the medical field. I would never have picked Jason up as a muse if I didn't thoroughly research the condition to start with.
Cheers for trying to give me the heads up, though.
Ah- no worries on sounding bitchy. I would however, as a suggestion, possibly explain that in an ooc note in his profile? It could possibly prevent further attempts at good will that (I do understand) tend to get annoying.
That way, if someone brings it up again, you can point out to them that it has already been explained.
