Does anyone know what I can take to ward off a sore throat (possibly developing into laryngitis) and a "cold" before it hits me full force? I canNOT afford to be sick this weekend!

Thanks!!

Airborne throat lozenges. They work MIRACLES! All of the Airborne stuff is good.

lock self in bathroom, open many water sources, also, stuff towel by door. (I've averted one cold this way so far this semester, seeing as I have a nice bathroom). sometimes it can be advisable to avoid extreme temperature changes such as opening the window - I think in your case that's good since you're sensitive to cold ( ... )

Airborne and antihistamine (benedryl) usually stave it off for me. The airborne bolsters the immune system, and the benedryl stops the drippies. The only downside is it makes you sleep, so do it at night!
