I used my new Canon Powershot digital camera to make the movie. It can actually take higher-quality movies, but I turned the quality levels down so that the file could be downloaded in a reasonable amount of time.
I'm not really a gadget junkie, but damn, the camera rocks, especially for how small it is. I didn't even really buy it for the movie abilities, but hey.... :)
Could everyone view it ok? Lemme know, because I plan to do this more in the future...
Geez, I've never seen a video post before. Makes me feel so behind the times. I found your journal through ryomakaze and added you. This is Ali, by the way, we met when you were in Dallas not long ago and I tagged along to see Gilbert and Sullivan shows. :-) I hope you made it back home and into bed safely.
Good to hear from you! I made it home OK, with enough time before work to get a few hours of sleep. I still have half of my workday to go, though, plus a 4 hour class to teach tonight. We'll see if I can make it through all of that... ^_^
