Hey guys. I'm trying to do research on possibly getting a new cell phone plan. In looking at various providers' plans, I don't see much of a difference in price, options, etc

I've had pretty good experiences with both Verizon and Sprint. I have Verizon (my dad still has me on his plan. ha ha. It only cost him $10/month so he just kept me on it). Steve has Sprint. For the most part, we are both pretty happy. My phone MIGHT work more often and in more places than his. But that seems pretty random. Every now and then his will work where mine doesn't, but usually it's the other way around.
I know nothing about the price or our plans. ha ha. I'm such a kept woman!
I have always used Sprint, and for the most part I like my service. I know I get fantastic service when I travel with only the occasional dead zone (in the middle of nowhere, Ohio) I just switched to a plan that's $39.95 a month and I get 500 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends (which start at 7), and 300 text's a month for an additional $5. With Sprint, you are eligible for upgrades every 18 months and the discounts depend on whether you sign a 1 or 2 year contract but generally tend to be good. I got my current phone for only $40 by renewing for 2 years

I have Cingular and I'm not sure about the price and plan because I'm on a family plan with my parents, brother, and grandma... I've been pretty happy with Cingular... I seem to get good reception just about everywhere I go (with the notable exception of my apartment in Meadow Park, but I don't anticipate you ever needing to go there...). That's not much info, but I hope it helps!
