My withheld snapecase word count will count toward next year's wrap-up because that's when the fic will post. My fest-related word count was inspired by an initial lack of sign ups, a worrying number of drop outs, and a sustained state of submania that I needed to channel somewhere other than into culinary knife work and ill-advised driving-but don't worry! The other creators contributed a variety of excellent works to the fest, as you'll see when the Snape Showcase begins posting on Severus' birthday, 9 January!
