So, one of the joys of watching hockey is the random-ass things that the announcers say. I present a representative sample of the wtf-ery from tonight's game-in-progress:

I wasn't paying attention to the announcing so much, but I definitely had at wtf moment with the "mastadonic pad stop." Bee tee dubs, Jimmy Howard is my new boyfriend (did you see him give Crysby a well-deserved face wash after that Pens game?).

Let's hope my Caps can have a game 7 like the Wings did tonight.

(I didn't catch that game at the time, but oh did I watch the replay. Possibly several times.)
