Who: Charity
Status: Closed
When: 3:20 pm
Where: Costa del Sol
What: Charity takes her work mobile and searches for customers on the beach - while spreading the word about her going away party being held later that evening.
If there was one thing she had to pick above all else in regards to Costa del Sol it was the fact of how it remained warm and sunny all throughout the year - not unlike most other places on the planet, and even despite the odd tropical storm that might have blown through the town, it never dropped too far below 85 degrees even during their ‘winter’ period. Shielding her eyes from the glaring sun, Charity looked out over her turf and the stretches of golden sand as she surveyed the public beach before her. It was already another busy day, and with the winter seasons hitting the other areas of the planet, Costa del Sol was getting much busier these days because of it. Charity found nothing to complain about though. With more people coming in and out of the town it meant that there were more people for her to socialise with - something that was never a bad thing within this particular Virtue’s opinion.
Grasping the basket a little tighter within her hand, Charity bounded her way down onto the beach. She was moderately dressed for work - or so she thought - and besides the purple coloured bikini top, Charity was modest enough to wear a matching coloured sarong wrapped around her waist. She’d always been fond of the dragon design, and this little outfit was no different as the design spiralled down the light material of the sarong.
The sand was hot beneath her steps, and Charity found herself wandering over towards two rather good looking potential buyers as she fell down onto her knees into the sand beside them. “Good afternoon gentleman. I couldn’t possibly persuade either of you into becoming the proud owner of a bottle of suntan lotion?” She asked with a dazzling smile. Charity wasn’t bias to simply picking the handsome clients over other types, but even a working class girl had to find some perks in her job - especially on such a warm day.
The one closest to her glanced over his shoulder, and after sighting the young female addressing him, his demeanour instantly brightened. “Well if it comes wrapped up in such a nice little package I don’t see why not. Name’s Jack” Pushing himself up to sit, his friend followed suit soon afterwards.
“Well Jack I’ve got brands to suit every budget,” Charity mentioned as she placed the basket of lotion on the sand beside her. Rummaging through the various bottles within, she made a small sound of victory as she pulled out one particular bottle labelled ‘The Virtues’. “Although if you indulge yourself with this lovely brand - not only is it made from the finest of products known on this planet, but it also comes with a free applications the first time you buy it.” She said with a wink.
As the bottle was taken from her grasp, Charity didn’t bother to keep any kind of personal space between herself and her customers as she leant forward and pressed herself up against Jack’s muscled bicep. It was a nice bicep (even if she did say so herself) and the warmth she felt against her chest spoke of just how long they’d been sitting out in the sun. Obviously not long at all, and it left her wondering if their girlfriends were off doing some menial task. Reaching forward, she ran her index finger over the small writing while murmuring to her clients. “Not only does it protect you from burning and is good for the skin, but it also keeps you protected twice as long as ordinary lotions.”
As he flipped the lid open, Charity’s attention flickered over to their friend as she happily announced. “I could even make it a ‘buy one get two applications for free’ deal. I would hardly want either of you fine men burning that perfect skin of yours.”
A laugh and a duo of pleased grins in response already informed the virtue to their answer well before they spoke. “I think that sounds like a fair enough deal to me. How much do we owe you for the lotion?”
Reaching past Jack, Charity pulled the bottle from his hands before awarding him with a charming smile. Eyes sparkling as the amount was thrown into her basket, Charity popped open the bottle before beginning setting to work as she spoke, “Only for a mere 80 gil.”
“Charity! When in the hell were you going to tell me about this time off that you’ve ‘apparently’ got planned?!”
There was a subtle grimace as her bosses rather raised voice cut through their conversation. With a pleasant smile to her customers, Charity turned back to look over her shoulder as she called back. “Just give me a minute Butch~”
Blue eyes sparkling, there was a definite mischievous glint within them as she turned back to her two attractive customers. “There’s a going away party at the docks starting at 7:30 tonight. I’d love to see you both there if you’re interested, and I’ll finish giving you both your bonus applications.” She said with a flirtatious wink before gathering her things and making her way back over to her boss.
Despite his annoyed tone, Charity was more than aware that he wouldn’t fire her. She’d been directly responsible for the increase of sales that she was far too valuable for him to fire. Seeing him yell and splutter, but otherwise do nothing, was always an entertaining thing to watch.
