Edge, Wednesday, October 17th 2007 [Day 4]
An old pick up truck drove through the streets of Edge early in the morning. It backfired once or twice as the light signal changed, before barreling through to the next street on its route. There was a hint of frost clinging to the asphalt, but as the pick up drove through it, the white tendrils parted temporarily before returning back as if nothing had disturbed it. While it was shaping up to be yet another cold day, there didn’t seem to be any indication that rain was inbound that day.
Two men crouched down in the back of the truck; their bodies wrapped up warmly against the crisp morning air as they animatedly talked while reaching down and picking up the wrapped rolled up news papers. Tossing it over the side, many years experience landed the protected news paper almost precisely on the front steps of buildings, before the process would continue.
For the first time in days it seemed as though there was a relative calm of news, and the front page highlighted the feats of a brave neighbour who pulled a child out of a burning home. There was no mention of large companies, and it seemed as though even the drug problem took a day off, and so the people of Edge were left to read the news of an ordinary man being the local hero for the day.

- Characters wandering around/near the edges of sector five, six and seven will notice a sudden increase of M-PIV users. There will be an influx of violent activities around those sectors - especially if Reeve has increased the amount of patrols wandering around the city. Characters can expect to mainly run into stage two M-PIV users, but any character wandering further into the slum area’s of sector six and seven will run into some spotted stage three M-PIV sufferers (and no more than two stage three suffers during this particular shift) before the drug ultimately takes the stage three effected users lives.
- The weather on the paper would be at 48 degrees during the day with the afternoon growing cloudy. No rain or storms are forecast for this day.]
