What: Sephiroth closes in on the Lapis WEAPON and stumbles on a startling piece of information.
His search had taken him back into old Midgar, and Sephiroth found himself standing over the old rubble of buildings that had once stood proudly. Eyes scanning over the area, his gaze finally landed on the quaint little rundown church that stood off in the distance. It was a location that he had never physically tread before, but one he knew better than any other place.
The smell of the planet was thick on the air, but even despite this, Sephiroth could sense that which lay hidden within the decrepit walls of that church. It had taken him the better portion of the afternoon to pinpoint its location and from where he now stood there was no part of him that could deny what lay within. While he wasn’t entirely certain that he was correct, Sephiroth held no doubt that what he found within would be worth the effort either way. Cat-like eyes narrowed as his face twisted into an expression akin to a dark pleasure, and he wondered if the foolish planet had become senile in its old age to make such an unwise mistake.
Whatever their reasons it was far too late to rectify their blunder, and he would take great pleasure in showing them just how much of an error they had made.
