Who: Charity, Cait Sith, Barret, Vincent, Forgiveness
Status: Closed.
When: 12:00pm
Where: Costa del Sol
What: Tourists and patrons alike take to the beach to celebrate the warmer weather, but this little happy-snap town it mere moments away from a raid orchestrated by none other than the WRO in an effort to curb the ever-growing influence of drugs.

The sun was glaring brightly down on the little coastal town. Despite its small size, Costa del Sol was brimming with life as people escaping the harsh Edge rain flocked to the warmer temperatures of the beach. Patches of sand could barely be seen between the towels, chairs, umbrellas and bodies lining their way along the glistening grains of quartz of the beach in question. To all of those both living and visiting there - this was a paradise, and the patrons of the town were not shy to flaunt that fact to their visitors.

Charity had been rather run off her feet ever since she got back from Edge, and because of the sudden rush of tourists to the beach, she’d barely had time to take a breath let alone make up any stock of Blitz for tonight’s rave. It was fortunate for her that Saiyo had offered to create a batch earlier on in the morning, and the thirty odd tablets were now maturing in their safe haven tucked away within his basement. If he hadn’t offered to help her out in over the phone this morning, then none of the tablets would have been ready for tonight’s party, and even with the thirty prepared there wouldn’t be enough to cover half of the people attending.

It was better than nothing though, and the party tonight was all that was keeping Charity from simply throwing down her basket of suntan lotions and running right into the crystal blue waters. A longing sigh accompanied those thoughts, and with a passing glance over towards the tempting waves, Charity felt a small pit of yearning for the freedom of simply running directly into the water. She was even in her new dragon bikini and sarong outfit as well.

“Oi Char!” Charity’s attention was stolen away from her crystal blue haven and over towards the tall figure hastily worming their way around the crowded beach. A smile brightened up her face as she sighted Saiyo running over to meet her.

“Well speak of the devil.” She murmured, and after dropping her basket into the sand, Charity broke out into a run. Leaping over the few sunbathing patrons of the beach, the large grin never once faltered as she jumped into his arms enthusiastic. “It’s been ages since I last saw you! How’s my handsome devil been?” Charity asked after he’d finished giving her a bear hug and had placed her feet back into the sand.

“Ahh you know - same old same old it seems. Glad to see that you’re back though. Costa’s just not the same without you babe.” Saiyo teased as he flicked the tip of her nose playfully. “I managed to get another twenty done just before now - so we should be pretty much set for the big welcome home rave tonight.”

Gripping onto his arm, Charity dragged the willing man through the sea of sunbathers as she returned back to her forgotten basket. “That’s great to hear! I was really worried that half of the party would be stuck with nothing but Matt’s bloody booze. His booze is great and all, but it just doesn’t like… do enough these days.” Leaning up towards Saiyo’s ear, the bubbly virtue whispered as if her words were the most controversial of all. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he watered it down with Nibel spring water.”

Her words were met with a laugh moments before Saiyo light heartedly cuffed Charity over the back of the head. “You idiot Char, that cheap bastard would only us desalinated sea-water - everybody knows that.”

Charity’s demeanour never once lost its high spirits as they reached the basket, and after picking it up and brushing the sand off the products, she turned her attention back up to Saiyo. “So you hanging around the beach for the rest of the afternoon or what? …’Cause I’ve kind’a gotta get back to work before Butch chews my hide out for slackin’ off again.”
