Who: Cloud, Sephiroth, Lapis WEAPON
Status: Closed
When: 3:00 AM
Where: Reactor 4, Old Midgar
What: An attempt at rest is interrupted

The old reactor from Midgar was not normally a place that he would hide out, not when a warm bed was waiting for his return. However, Reeve had departed after showing him the way into the Reactor and the WEAPON had stopped struggling to get away from him about halfway through the trip. It was the best that they could do on short notice, and he could only hope that their plan to cause interference so Sephiroth could not follow worked long enough that he could rest himself.

Old pipes groaned, and he was certain that there were mice scurrying about. The mechanisms of the reactor were all shut off, but that did nothing to halt the eerie feeling still left from the old smell of acrid mako. It hung heavy in the air, stale and unused after so long. Some of the planks and ladders had fallen into disarray and were no longer safe for any manner of weight, and some of the normal metal girders were rusted some.

Cloud leaned heavily on the closed door just outside the main reactor room. There was only one way into the room and one way out of it. He had placed the WEAPON inside in order to sleep, while he leaned against the closed door in an attempt to grasp at the last bits of rest that he would be able to get. He crossed his arms and pulled his knees up, resting heavily against the door and his massive sword. The jacket he was wearing did little to help stave off the cool air of the evening along with the fact that the reactors weren’t heated anymore.

His head rested backwards against the door, and he twitched in sleep. Every once in awhile he would wake thanks to a groan of a pipe or a mouse scampering too close. Huffing, he would lay his head back and try for a little more sleep, usually just ending up dozing.
