Charity had managed to skilfully withdraw from causing any real trouble with Yuffie and Nanaki earlier that morning. She had promised, after all, that she’d be on her best behaviour for the time being - which sucked since she wanted to go out and play with the boys. She was being good; however, and kept herself as far away from AVALANCHE as she busied herself in the market area of the new Wall Street ( ... )

Vincent could recognize that voice without a second thought - though it wasn't a pleasant one to hear. Charity. The fight in Costa wasn't lost to him, but at least one of his questions was approaching him. That alone caused him to stop (and the questionable wonder of whether or not she would follow him if he had kept walking) and give her a narrowed look, straightening to his full height and looking down at the small woman.

"Charity," he uttered.

Charity couldn’t help but grin as she saw the new hair-style Vincent was wearing. Of course she knew it was a result of their fight in Costa, but such misgivings between them flew right over the bubbly Virtue’s head as she headed directly over to where the tall man had stopped and looked down at her.

She didn’t slow her approach; however, before she all but tackled Vincent with a large hug as her arms wrapped around his upper torso. “You cut your hair!” She announced excitedly while plastering her body up against Vincent’s. Reaching up with one hand, her fingers grasped and played with the short bangs Vincent now sported as she observed. “I think you look even sexier with short hair.”

Vincent didn't respond to her words, instead grabbing her by the shoulders - carefully, though firmly, so that his talons wouldn't cut deep into her - and pulling her off of him, setting her an arms length away. This wasn't the time - or the person - to have friendly conversation with or share compliments. She was tricky, and he was more than aware of that.

"I have questions for you," he stated plainly, glancing briefly around them. "We need to go somewhere more secluded."
