Who: Reeve & Aurelius
Status: Open
When: 9:30PM
Where: Reeve's Office, Sector 4, WRO Building
What: Reeve receives a surprise visit from someone who is mortally wounded and on life-support. Interesting, no?
The building was practically empty, so different from the hustle and quiet bustle of the hospital. Walking the halls in the WRO building were much more pleasant, so much more calming... they allowed her to clear her buzzing thoughts. The ringing in her ears seemed to die down when there was only silence around her, not the beep of machines, or the quiet discussions on medication or the prickle of instruments or needles. The static noise that swam in her head was calmed as her bare feet padded slowly across the well-waxed cool floors.
She had come on a whim because it had seemed like a good idea when it had occurred to her. She had wanted to see him, to know if the news of her demise had reached even his powerful ears. Would he care? He was a caring man, ruled by emotions. There was a chance that he had heard, and an even greater chance that he had known who had slain her so heartlessly.
Slowing, Aurelius hummed to herself as the bandages around her torso loosened and fell away, leaving a long line of gauze trailing after her. Such things were itchy on her skin, and the thin cotton gown felt much better, even if it was completely open in the back. Her long silver hair tumbled about her slim shoulders, swishing against the exposed portions of her back, and she suddenly began to sway back and forth with her walk, exaggerating but graceful. Her eyes glowed faintly.
Still, she walked on towards the large doors at the end of the hallway, towards him. Unbidden, she reached out and pushed open the doors and stepped into the room. She felt his mind actively working here, and she turned her blue eyes towards the large desk. And there he was, sitting there working as if it weren't some insane time in the evening.
She suddenly smiled brightly, as if being here accomplished the single goal that she had for the night. "Reeve... you work much too hard."
