What: After what brief rest Vincent can obtain for the night, he stretches his legs in the backroads of Midgar and comes across Lapis WEAPON.
The brief sleep he had been subject to, head hitting the pillow at the early hour of 9:00 PM, had been a deep one. Dark and dreamless, his body had started to catch up on the rest it recquired for all of two hours before he was awoken by the sharp sound of something clattering outdoors. After a brief investigation and finding himself in no immediate danger, his attempts to return to sleep had been all but futile. The restless feeling in the pit of his stomach and the forefront of his mind had returned with the full effect of what he had felt during the morning.
And, just like during the morning, he gave up once more on finding rest. He pushed the covers away from him, feet soundlessly hitting the carpeted floor as he stood and quickly dressed. After a brief pause, Cerberus was placed in its holster, his cellphone was left on the bedside table, and he was out the door, down the staircase, and into the narrow streets that crossected the inner workings of Midgar. What little observing he failed to do over the past weeks he made up for now, eyes quickly adjusting to the shifts of dark and light as he moved through pools of artificial light coming from dim lamps connected to damp walls.
At least it had stopped raining.
