So, I just finished researching Paul Verlaine for my french class. Now, I'm really sad. He had such a sad life. I was doing really good with the whole work thing. Reading about his life is a real downer and really makes you feel for the guy. Now I'm distracted.

Maybe he didn't perceive his life the way you did. It's all a matter of what angle you're looking at it.

Then again, I'm not really sure of the details of his life..
