(no subject)
I'm leaving for a week and a half tomorrow early morning (6 am Moscow, 3 am GMT) for Croatia. Yeah, I intend to do some diving, test my new digital camera's underwater case and so on.
I've finally received word from my beta and submitted the fic to FA. Stick around and watch for it to show up. Naturally, if it does, read and review :D
For those out in the RPG - I've finally decided on a pic for Krad. Janick Gers, of Iron Maiden and Gillan (and a helluva lotta other rock and metal bands and people) fame. I know he's too blond for my task, but I do intend to edit those pics in Photoshop once I get back.
This time around, I'm leaving only one char under a loan - Jackie, who I'm loaning out to Moony for slash purposes best left unmentioned.
Am currently enjoying the LotR soundtrack. As much as I despise the book for being dull and slow, and the movies for ruining whatever few interesting points the book offered, the music is simply gorgeous. Go figure.
I intend to do a lot of reading during my vacation... I've stocked up on Tom Clancy's "Sum of All Fears" (still desperately looking for "Rainbow Six", but to no avail); Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonflight", "Dragonseye" and "All the Weyrs of Pern" (well, I'm grabbing what I can find on sale, since the russian translations of these suck serious ass), and, last but not least, William Gibson's "Virtual Light" and "Mona Lisa Overdrive". Gonna need that last one if I want to overcome my writer's block concerning Cyberpunk Nightmare...
