I crossed paths with a girl similar to those that you speak of. Boy, was she stupid! Our conversation went something like this:

HER: Where are your parents from?
ME: My mom is Cuban, and my dad is from Spain.
HER: Oh wow, So you're completely South American.
ME: Uhh.. No. Spain is in Europe, and Cuba is definitley in North America.
HER: NO! I've been to Spain! It's in South America.
ME: Um, I'm positive it's not.
Other person in class: It's in Europe.
HER: Oh, really? I still can't believe that..

and so the conversation went on.
FIU has shown me a whole new definition to the term moronic.

BTW, not ALL people in the College of Education are complete imbecils. I am certainly not. :P

senior year in high school, journalism/creative writing class, we are reading an article about some neo-nazi group and this girl raises her hand and asks the teacher "whats a nazi?" he just kinda looked at her for a few seconds like he didnt know how to reply. then someone near her had to be like, "you know, WWII, Hitler, Germany, The NAZIS!"

i maintain that some people are just plain stupid even though it makes no sense how they can make it through life.
