My grandparents were big time Dolphin fans, and one of the first season ticket holders. My father has been to the rusted relic many times, and even watched someone die at a UM/FSU game when they drunkenly fell over the balcony.
As a Nole fan, I'm sorry to see it go. The fact that they played the Orange Bowl in Joe Robbie, while the real OB was down the road, seamed disrespectful to me. I'll miss the palm trees by the score-board, the "Miami welcomes you to the Orange Bowl", and the shadow that the canes held over the place for such a long, long time.
