So except for the fact that internet is screwing with me at the moment I had a fairly good weekend. Thursday just played some pool, hung out on the floor, made with the video games, played poker... good stuff. hahaha! Ausie/British Slang! From EL'ka! I at least have an excuse for using that word cause I've been picking up sebastian's mannerisms... but even then i use it like 'dude," "buddy," or "man"... :-P

so how come i'm not seeing any lj entries about going to see broadway shows? i think that's all i would do if i lived in the city... mmmmmmm.

well then youd be begging in the park pretty fast... even with the student discount, tickets for broadway shows are ridiculously expensive... somewhere between 50 and 100 for one...

I'm seeing some really cool broadway show in febuary.

The MET is great though... plus theres a cool exhibit at the Gugenheim i'll catch after finals

i wonder if there's a way for students to get involved in productions, perhaps on the tech side, and then get to see shows for free.

sebastian is doing crew work with Hailey Joel Osman in his group... anyways, i see how much time it eats...

I'll ask him about how Atlantic Theatre Company students get subsadies to go to shows but i do think thats an actor thing... I mean... NYU does have one of the best performance art schools in the country, i dont think all those theatre goodies go to CAS students.
