After reading this, I thought I had some good advice. Upon reflection, I realized that it was just a version of what I've been telling myself in order to convince myself to finish my fucking undergrad.

Well Gruver pointed me in your direction. I know I don't know you all that well but if grad school is making you this unhappy I'd say get the hell out of there.

Lots of people can tell you not to give up this great opportunity but it's not their life. Don't do this just because you don't want to disappoint family and friends or because you are flattered by professors and mentors. Okay I can feel this getting more and more cliche, but in the end only you can decide.

Jessica, blast from the past. How is Union treating ya? Glad to hear you are going to be done with english papers.

I haven't posted in a while, but I have decided to quit school at the end of this semester. I know now that whatever I want to do in a broader sense does not include getting a philosphy degree at this moment or at this university.

What are your plans after graduating? If graduate work is a possibility, I might suggest to you a few things that I think are helpful(well they probably won't be, but who knows). Good luck with your paper.
