I can empathise with your predicament as I once had to sit through an engineering presentation by a gentleman (from our sister plant) called RANDY BULL.
I think multinational corporations call it "valuing cultural diversity"

I once had to work with an American bloke called Gay David. I was shocked when I first joined the project because I thought all these senior consultants had were referring to him by a nickname....but no, his first name is actually Gay.
