So, apparently a flying car, the Skycar, has been developed and will be available for personal purchase within two years. It'll cost about half a million if you're willing to wait a little longer, or a whole million if you want to be one of the first 50 its shipped to. Interestingly enough its more gas effecient than most sedans, and definately ( Read more... )

Meh, whatever - it doesn't look like the Dolorian!

Also, Black Voyage - I love that song. I'm so so glad I got ranting about MDB, and that you were interested - because I've pulled out all my old cds and have been listening to them with great relish the last few days. Have you found Sear me mcmxvii yet? From TLTS? That is one beautiful song...

Unfortunately, the only CD I've managed to get my hands on is The Light At The End Of The World. It does have Sear Me III on it, if its anything like the other... The store I went to had that CD, and another... mm, it had The Cry of Mankind and The Sexuality of Bereavement on it. However I only had the cash to get one, so I guess next week!

I'm really enjoying The Light At The End Of The World, though. That and Into The Lake Of Ghosts! Specially when he sings, "Oh, christ, what have I done?
Ill fortune now will come." Something about it, I don't know. Amazing vocals on that.

Oh, don't get The Cry of Mankind and The Sexuality of Bereavement - unless you can pick them up really cheap, or unless you are very fond of the ultra heavy stuff - I can't bring myself to listen to it anymore (guess I'm finally out of The Angst)

Sear Me III? - ah, now I'm confused. I think I like that one too. But the Sear me redux on Turn Loose the Swans is better. Wait! Does it have lyrics something like "I kiss your tears, my sweet one, and kiss again, my love" ? Yeah, that song is lovely. Also - that is the EXACT moment that I love in Lake of Ghosts! There's a similar moment in Christliar that is excellent too. Bad me - I haven't listened to this stuff for far too long - I used to know every note and every line by heart!

Yeah I remembered you saying that stuff was really heavy, so I decided to skip on it and get the one I remembered you giving positive reviews about. I still like ultraheavy stuff, but only when intermixed with a bunch of lighter songs with good vocals.

And yeah that's Sear Me III. Creepy we like the same moment in Lake of Ghosts hehe. Christliar isn't on my favorites, though. Not that I don't like it, but I'd put The Night He Died between it and Lake of Ghosts if I were to put them in order of favorites. Speaking of The Night He Died, love those lyrics... "I descended right upon him/ My weeping prey/ Kissing him as his life ended/ In the rain"
