I am working on building a Warhammer Fantasy Battle army, and I'm working on creating a mercenary force from Tilea (Which is like Italy and that general area in Warhammer). I need to make background information and stories for this army and its characters, so I figured I'd post the first part of it and see what you all think. Does it make you want

I've got to get to uni so I only skimmed through this - sorry! - it looks pretty cool, but I'll read it properly later. If you're doing military stuff - I cannot recommend Glen Cook's "The Black Company" series enough (I pimp this out at every opportunity - I LOVE these books) The first three books in particular - a lot of people think it goes majorly downhill from there, but I enjoyed it the whole way though - though there is a massiv shift in location that might have put some people off - it goes from being very sort of Northern European, into swapy Thai-Indian type deltas, but it's, man, awesome. There are some fantastic characters - I really really think you should read these books. And now I have to go or my English tutor will yell at me!

Ah, well, it is military of sorts. But its fantasy as well. If I didn't have throngs of books waiting for me to read, I'd go grab the Black Company books right now. But they'll have to wait 'till I finish with my current series I'm working on.
