The simple yet entirely hopeless sense of loneliness you write Cas having is heartbreaking without going over the top. The idea of having no real home is a depressing one, especially when Cas used to have such a solid one. And the slow humanization process he undergoes is really interesting.
I really liked the dialogue. One of my favorite things about the show was how distinctly the main characters spoke. Dean with his smart-ass wit, and Castiel with his stiff, almost overly articulate manner of talking.
'Twas sweet and simple and I liked it. :)

But I'm glad you liked it! I'm always worried when I first start writing for a new fandom. I like to get a good grasp on the characters first.
