gifts
These past couple days ive been working on christmas presents for my friends and family. i'm trying to make people stuff this year... and well i ended up only making Erin a present just cause she is i think my only friend into art. SO this is what i gave her...
I really didnt like how the girl turned out seeing as how this was my practice one, i did it on a canvas and it ended up REAL ugly so i just went along with this one. this was the first time ive ever used oil pastel chalk, but i had a lot of fun with it! I ended up liking alot how the colors turned out. (i didnt get the whole drawing in this picture, but yeah)
OKay and this is what erin gave me!!!
this was one of the pictures we took together one weekend, and she took it and drew it! i love it so much! it is amazing how talented some people are. i admire talent SOOOOOOOOO very much.
On erin's picture i wrote quotes and such all around the edges and one of them was "the artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work." THis girl works so hard at her gift and i give her major snaps for it! YAY FOR ARTISTS!!!
OH and today at the church i had a rehersal for the Christmas eve service and OH boy, its gonna be great! cant wait! 5 days til Christmas!!!
Time to go work on something else!!!
