for the random bi-yearly update :/ work is rather annoying. after gretchen retired and sandy just never came back on the same day we finally hired somebody about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and he already found another job and left. sally, who's been here almost as long as me found a new job and is leaving in two weeks. that leaves just me and one other

Unfortunately for people like you and me, knowing where we stand with people is something will forever elude us. Intimidating people have a much harder time getting honest answers from timid individuals. Sad but true. I'm in the same boat, wanting to hear from people to know where I stand with them. It would make life so much easier. Take care, and good luck with the problems you are currently facing at work.
