It sounds as though you made the decision in a reasonable manner. I hope it works out for you, Third graders are interesting. They usually love their teachers.

Congrats on the job! I hope you realllllly enjoy it, and that it works well for you, even if it's not something you want to do indefinitely.

And I hope things will improve quickly for your mom, and that she doesn't have to have additional surgery.

Congratulations! I'm so glad you've found a job, even if it isn't exactly what you want permanently - and it sounds like the teachers there are convinced it's an amazing environment, so that's always promising. :) Good luck, and here's hoping the car trip isn't too arduous!
