i agree with you that taking a 'forced' time out from work is way better than losing ones' job altogether and it's a good thing that you have talents to fall back on during this period. i also understand all the things that tend to pop up expense wise as i need a new muffler for my car and will be having property taxes, and car and house taxes coming up soon. OI~ Just can't keep up with it all!
i'm so happy to see this post of yours today. i have missed you so much, M! i know i should write more about my life, but frankly, it's taken such a boring turn and has left me feeling somewhat helpless, confused and hurt. But then again, maybe i should anyway???

Good luck on the job front, I am also very grateful to have a good job. S's company had a 30% RIF, pretty scary. But he survived the layoffs, and they have promised that there won't be any futher layoffs for a 'while'. Plus, he has had to take every other Friday off, using his vacation time.
It is good to see you posting again- I want to do better at posting.
