Her flame was brilliant and beautiful to the end, and I will miss it.

i am missing her so much already...like there is this void in my life now, especially here in LJLand. Anita knew how much i hated 'good byes'...

I know. I've spent hours in her journal this weekend. I can barely think of anything else but her, who she was, what she gave all of us.

I know she wasn't a believer (at least not in a "personal" God or in an afterlife), and she wrote eloquently about her own beliefs and her meeting of death in that context.

My own belief and hope is that she has been pleasantly surprised.
