Is there anyone out there who knows much about Avengers fandom, who would be willing to look over a short fic for me in about an hour or two? If so, please let me know!! I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask ...

I tried and failed :-(. Ah, well, I made an effort? I'll send it to you if and when I ever get it done--I was hoping to do it, but RL has derailed me yet again, and I'm too tired to finish it tonight (plus I need to be up early) and what I have done so far I'm just not comfortable with. :-( Thanks again, though!

Hee! I don't offer to beta these days since everything takes me so long. I just didn't know you'd started writing or reading in the fandom. But I have nothing against Tony/Pepper? The other things, yes, maybe a little. Though I would never threaten you! I would just look horribly, deeply disappointed. With humanity in general.

(PS I did tell you that starting with Avengers might be confusing. *g*)

(PPS If I do start to lecture, you can always just remind me that at least you're not a Clint/Coulson 'shipper. Unless you are, in which case, just don't tell me about it...)

I have, as you know, good, highly respected friends that adore Clint/Coulson, but I can't write either of them. I'll read my friends' fic about them, because I will read anything they write and adore it, but I'm all about Tony, really. I really like Tony/Pepper in the movieverse, and am liking less all the fic that forces them to break up so they can do Steve/Tony, which I really don't see. Not in the movies, anyway, although I understand that the comics are different. Besides, I really do think Pepper and Tony together are very, very sweet
