So, I am going to sell my condo. Once it's sold, lots of bills get paid off and I start with a clean slate. It also means that I will have a bit of deciding as to where I'm going to go. Austin is nice and I don't mind staying here. Las Vegas is a possibility. Little Rock/Hot Springs is a distant possibility, I think. Back to Florida? ( Read more... )

Why not open it up to voting? Take a list of candidate destinations, cull them to a top 5 with a preliminary round of voting, and then finalize the list with a second round.

I propose:

Point Roberts, WA
Anchorage, AK
Centralia, PA
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
and
Moab, UT

Well, KC isn't too bad. Cost of living is less than Austin.
