I have been rewatching Poirot. I watched this on Mystery! with my family when I was a kid, but haven't seen most of them since. Which means that I don't really remember them--they don't even look familiar--but I always know exactly how the crime was committed. It's like being a genius! I watch it and am like, a-ha! The problem dear Agatha had with Poirot is that she started writing him as an older man, so when he proved popular, she had to keep him ageless.

She also only has a handful of plots, which recur. (Evil Under the Sun is similar to this one, as is one of her short stories, I think.)

Tell you what, though, she writes a page turner and I'd love her sales. :)

The only Christie I've read is And Then There Were None and The Mousetrap. I tried to read a Poirot, but he was SO unlikable in text. David Suchet manages to make him endearing.
