My parents told me that the biggest failure of upbringing me is the fact I am an atheist. Or rather, I don't go to the church anymore.

Well. In my opinion religion is something you find in yourself on your own, not something that other people can teach you. Plus I can easily mention worst mistakes they did, but of course they won't listen to me

Blah. I'm not a religious person myself. It shouldn't be a matter of if you're religious or not.

I don't actually like religion being dictated to me. I'd rather just live my life the way I feel is correct-- having other people interpret something and then tell you how you must be just doesn't sit well with me. We wouldn't have free will if we were supposed to be led around by a congregation of old, corrupt men.

In my mind, as long as I can live a good life, I should be fine on the other side. It's wrong to say 'you won't go to heaven' if you don't go to church, or if you follow the wrong god-- seriously, what about those people who didn't KNOW about this or that god? they're just tossed aside without a care? That's kind of rude for an overly forgiving god, don't you think?

Bah. Religion just bugs me like that.
