I can't comment to people on my friends list who post friends only entries. I keep getting the message that I need to log in to read the protected entry. But I am logged in and I can read the entries, I just can't comment. I have no problem commenting on unlocked posts. Anyone else having this problem?

I wonder if you have some security setting that isn't letting you read them. Hmmmm...

I can't see how it would be my settings. I thought at first I'd been screened out and there was some screw-up that was still allowing me to read the posts. But then I realized it was all the friends only posts. I think it's strange I'm being kept from commenting but not reading the posts themselves.

You were right! It's the cookies lj has added. Mozilla was blocking them.

I recently had trouble with Flickr's new cookies, too. Glad you got it worked out!

someone on my list said LJ is having issues with IE's browser.

I use Mozilla. I wonder if they're having trouble with that one too.

I've been having that happen and then logging in, writing a big long post (or comment) and having it say "you have to log in" when I hit the "post" button... grrrr ...

Here's to LJ getting back to it's former LJ goodness!
