Trader Joe's is great, but it seems to be easy to spend more money than you intended because while the stuff may be cheaper than a regular store, some of it can still really add up. Also, I feel some of the items are geared more towards single people, or people without kids because it's all in small packages. The produce seems to be like this, and I find the produce expensive. Some of the things I really like are brown basmati rice at 2.50 for three lbs., packages of curried tuna for 1.39-it says it's two servings, but it seems more like one, makes a great quick lunch with rice. Steel cut oats are a good price, milk and eggs are what they are in the grocery store. Beer and wine are super cheap, haha.

trader joes rocks! you can buy a huge chocolate bar (pound plus) for very, very cheap. a big hit with greg!

but yes, i buy organic pop tarts for my picky breakfast eater, coffee beans for greg and plenty of other things for cheap.

i easily drop $200 for 6 weeks worth of goods.

hope you're feeling better soon.
