I could never live in NYC. I tried to meet up with some pals at the Khyber tonight, but Old City seemed like it morphed into Manhattan. Taxis everywhere, lots of honking, lots of people jaywalking in groups, cars running red lights. If I wanted to get papers and ID that certifies I'm Canadian, it would cost $100CAD. Should I? I don't know why I would need to...if I ever do visit I could have that instead of a passport I think.
