So.... my brain hurts. We went to a bunch of different jewelry stores today to try to pick out an engagement ring. I had no idea. Seriously. I had NO idea that there was so much to think about. Ivy--you deserve the ring, no matter what you think. Go with what makes you happy, I will say.

My advice? Get something simple that you really love, the size doesn't matter! Besides, large rings get caught on everything! My ring is on the small side and it took forever before I stopped banging it on everything.

Do you go mountain climbing a lot? Make sure it fits and is what you like, I prefer to have a nice ring design with just a single diamond. My 21st ring sort of sweeps around the stone, which is why I love it it.
