Recess is a beautiful thing. Sleep is a beautiful thing. It's made me want to go back to school. Except there's not much I could go back to school for, really. A PhD, maybe. Med school? I don't even want to imagine being expected to learn the finer points of using a scalpel ( Read more... )

I think you should go back to school and become a massage therapist. Or a chiropractor. I'm just saying.

Andrew Jackson was a lawyer, the first Congressman elected out of Tennessee, and later a Senator. He also had, according to my friend Wikipedia, penetrating blue eyes.

Brand new pencils, crisp clean notebooks, index cards just waiting to be written on... There really is something a little special about the supplies needed for school.

And if you ever feel nostalgic for school, feel free to come over and look at the giant stack of books I'll need for just the one semester. I think that might help in deterring you.

School shopping was always my favorite time of year. Call me a nerd.

Sadly, I think that would only serve to feed the flame. I miss all of it, even the ridiculously priced books that you'll only barely have time to read.

Not very surprisingly, while the size and sheer length of the textbooks scares me a little, absorbing all the knowledge in them is something I'm looking forward to, too.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck in this 3 month limbo of end of classes and graduation--which is really stupid. But, when law school starts I'll be happy to drop by to show you my books and homework to help you reminisce.
