Ya know, maybe if you haggled with CS and made up some elaborate story you could get at least some of your deposit back... It might work, it can't hurt!
I think no matter what you do it will be wonderful, and gorgeous, and magical.

Mmmmmm cake!

get married at the new sonic. i've still never been there. twilite_ang March 23 2007, 17:43:13 UTC
sheeeeeesh.
all i have to say is i'm glad this is not MY wedding, and while you may be a bridesmaid in my wedding, I don't know that I'll leave too much of the planning up to you. ;D

my two cents that you might not appreciate as much:
you DESERVE to have a pretty pretty princess wedding if that's what you want. I know it's NOT the bulk of what you want... but I think, personally, as a super-unmarried-probably-single-forever-girl, that it's ok for the wedding to be ridiculous when it comes to favors and food and the deeeeetails. why? because you WILL only do this once. EVER. in your whole life. And you deserve for it to be HOWEVER the hell you want. covered in pink roses would be fine! in the streets of spokane would be fine, if that's what you want! but just know that no one will think you're selfish or silly or dumb or any of that if you decide you want to feel like a princess on your wedding day. it's YOUR day. YOU and TOM ONLY. That's IT. That's ALL that should matter that day. So if you want to be a princess, be one, and do it ( ... )

See, that is what kills me. I DON"T want the big fancy princess thing, but I have been told by just about everyone that that is what i SHOULD want. Hell, Tom and I said for years that we didn't even want a wedding, but eventually caved and said that we would do it.

Maybe Tom and I will just go to lake Coeur d'Alene this weekend and do it, and then send out pictures. Except we are busy this weekend - maybe next.

Well, no one should be making you feel like you do or don't have to have it any certain way. I honestly can't imagine you having a big princessy wedding, but if that's what you wanted that's what we'd do! I wish I could just say "relax!" and it would all come together exactly how you want it. Sounds like you and Tom just need to really think about it and follow your hearts. You two are making this commitment for each other, not any one else, and anyone who doesn't see it that way is in the wrong. All I can say is that I can't wait for the day that we get to celebrate YOUR FAMILY, however you choose to do it. AND, if you ran away and did it all before anyone even knew and then we just got to have a big party i don't think anyone would or should be disappointed. Just don't do anything rash just to avoid the stress... spend some time in thought and prayer and conversation about it with each other and inevitably you will come to the best decision. :D ( ... )
