We had Tom's family over for a BBQ last night, and told them that we can't afford/do not want to big wedding, which they received well, though as the night went on, we realized that hadn't really taken it to heart. I'm a pretty good cook, even if I don't like doing it... but I simply cannot, CANNOT grill - whatever it is, if *I* put it on the grill it will get ruined.

Last night Tom's stepdad asked me how I knew when meat was done, and I told him when it was black. He was worried, but I am actually pretty decent at timing and testing. Everyone raved at the end of the night, which was nice. Oh the irony, of someone who doesn't enjoy eat being the best griller in the family. Lol.
