[FANFIC] Drabble series: 290608
Part 5:
It was four days after Jaejoong fell sick and he was slowly getting better, much to his disappointment. Yesterday he felt as though he was as good as new, that is, until he fainted after he took a shower. He was burning up again, and he never felt more depressed in his whole life.
This morning, Jaejoong's mother was called to go to work for an unexpected meeting, so she ordered Sungyong, Ahjoong and AJ to go and buy groceries for dinner and some extra medication for the sick boy. Jaejoong's father told him he had to run down to the corner shop to grab a pack of cigarettes a couple of seconds ago.
So right now, Jaejoong wasgoing to be home alone for a while.
Perfect.
The ill boy quickly got out of bed after hearing his dad leave - not before wrapping his body with his blanket - and rushed out to the living room and hopped on his computer. He opened the balcony blinds just a bit - from his desk, he could see down the balcony to the front gates of the house and keep an eye out for his father.
Moving the mouse connected to his computer, he thanked the heavens that AJ had left his computer on standby. He impatiently waited for his MSN to load as he quickly typed in his password, heart thumping loudly from the left side of his chest. He felt this weird, bubbling excitement in his gut. He bit back the grin trying to stretch on his face all the while staring at the spinning loading circle on the MSN window. Come on come on come on!
When Jaejoong was finally signed in, he gasped and fist pumped the air. He quickly scrolled up and down his contact list, looking for a certain nickname. After scrolling and searching for a couple of seconds, he typed up his name in the search bar, excitement growing through his frail body.
Enter.
Blank eyes stared at the screen.
His body slumped.
He bit his lip.
A shaky, depressed sigh escaped his pale lips, "Why did I even bother..."
Yunho wasn't on.

When Sungyong, Ahjoong and AJ came home, the sick boy was taking a nap. AJ could only sigh and slump on the couch. He was really close with Jaejoong since they did grow up together since Jaejoong was born (he was the youngest), so knowing his cousin was sick made him feel a little down and lonely. Ahjoong and Sungyong were already locked in Sungyong's room anyway, so the only thing he could do was... not much at all.
He decided to just play games on Jaejoong's computer. As he moved the mouse though, he was met with an already logged in MSN and an open conversation of Jaejoong's friend who seemed a bit frantic.

?!. Yuuuuunho says: OMG WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!
?!. Yuuuuunho says: fgjdjghslskfjgkv omgomgomg happy late birthday you!
?!. Yuuuuunho says: Gah! i should be mad at you but then you weren't on for a couple od days and then i got worried and omg what happened?!

AJ raised an eyebrow and smiled in amusement. Jaejoong never told him about having a close friend, a guy in fact. Jaejoong told him everything! With a small smile, AJ decided to let this Yunho guy know what happened with his cousin and calm him down.
Jaejooooong says: ...hi?
?!. Yuuuuunho says: OMG JAEJOONG!
Jaejooooong says: uhh no not jaejoong haha

Jaejooooong says: i'm his cousin aj

Jaejooooong says: yeah jaejoong hasn't been lately because well... he's sick

AJ laughed at how worried JAejoong's friend was. It felt a little refreshing. It's not everyday you find a good mate that cares about you excessively. Jaejoong was pretty lucky.
Jaejooooong says: jaes fine lol he just gets really sick on his birthday a lot. not sure because if its just him or what but you know
Jaejoooong says: calm down bro he's just sleeping now which is what he has been doing for the past few days
?!. Yuuuuunho says: oh ok. phew! :) thanks man! can you tell him i wish him happy late birthday? i couldn't get a hold of him on the day :/
Jaejooooong says: yeah sure sure.
Jaejooooong says: well im gonna go now i'll b sure to let him know you're worried and all

With that, AJ logged off of his cousins msn and made a mental note to pass on the message for Jaejoong.
